MOTU 10pre Thunderbolt™ 4 / USB4 audio interface with DSP, mixing, effects and networking

MOTU's 10Pre is a 26x28 audio interface built for studios that need serious I/O density without compromise. It connects via Thunderbolt 4 or USB4 at 40 Gbps, delivering 66 simultaneous channels of conversion. The ESS Sabre32 DAC achieves 125 dB dynamic range at up to 24-bit/192 kHz, with round-trip latency as low as 1.8 ms – fast enough for real-time tracking and monitoring without lag.

Sixteen DC-coupled TRS inputs and outputs handle line-level gear, external processors, and modular synth control voltage. Two banks of eight-channel optical I/O support ADAT and SMUX expansion. The onboard 32-bit floating-point DSP runs a 64-channel, 32-bus mixer with reverb, EQ, gate, and compression, controlled via the CueMix Pro app. Dual Gigabit AVB ethernet ports daisy-chain up to eight units for hundreds of networked channels. Twin 3.9-inch RGB TFT displays show metering and mix data, while word clock in/out/thru, loopback recording, and A/B/C monitoring with talkback round out a 1U steel chassis.
